Tunbridge Wells Forum | Community Engagement Day
Client: TW Forum
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Area: 400 person gig capacity
Status: Design Charette
Perched at the top of the hill on the Tunbridge Wells common The Forum has a special place in many people's hearts; from forming an intrinsic set of coming of age experiences through first gigs and a taste of freedom in early teenage years, to gaining access to new, local and established music acts. The Tunbridge Wells Forum has a unique atmosphere and sense of local camaraderie, making it a venue that the people of Tunbridge Wells are really proud of.
Following their 25th anniversary in 2018 The Tunbridge Wells Forum are looking to extend the capacity of this much loved music venue, by adding an extension to the rear garden of the existing building.
In partnership with TW Forum, organised by RIBA South East, championed by Stuart Page (local architect) and supported by us - Studio Bloom & Toko Andrews (RIBA Part 2 Student), a truly collaborative day of designing, creating and making is proposed for Saturday 18th May 2019.
Local architects, students and designers are coming together for a design charette and model making session to generate ideas for the extension of this iconic music venue. Doors are open at 1pm to the general public - come and see what we’ve created, add your voices & tell us your stories.
Can't make it on the day?
